I went walking outside tonight, as the sky had adopted a purple hue and the moon hung between the trees as if caught in a net. I stood in the middle of the street, bare feet against the filmy slickness of the pavement, and watched the headlights grow brighter and brighter coming towards me. I miss the imagination that used to wrap me like a protective bubble, though I think it's coming back again. Tracing the powerlines as they stretch off into infinity, through homes and forests. I'll have to agree with you Erica. I'm curious about just picking up and walking, myself. I wonder where it would lead me.
